We
are saddened to hear of the death of the Wall Street journalist
Daniel Pearl. We were praying and keeping faith that this
unfortunate kidnapping would have had a positive outcome
and that he would released
without harm.
This
was a senseless killing that served no purpose. This was
not the will of the Pakistani people. It was the deep hatred
of a few. We have no doubt that under the direction of
President Musharraf, the Pakisatni officials will continue
to work with the FBI and CIA in investigating this gruesome
act and bring the perpetrators to justice.
On
behalf of the Pakistani American Business Executives Association
and it's Board Members, we offer our heartfelft condolences
to Mr. Pearl's wife, family,friends and colleagues.
