PROUD TO SUPPORT THE BOLD AND COURAGEOUS PEACE PROCESS
EFFORTS OF PAKISTAN'S NEW PRESIDENT, PERVEZ
MUSHARRAF AND INDIA'S PRIME MINISTER ATAL BEHARI VAJPAYEE.
The
region has a real chance to emerge in this decade as one
of the most vital regions in the world.
We
believe the region is now on a path that leads to understanding
the economic growth and human development for the two countries
and what needs to be done in a collaborate effort of government,
business and academia to support this growth and prosperity
across all human boundaries. Regional economic development
collaboration provides for making decisions that will affect
the quality of life for millions of people of South East
Asia.
The
Pakistani American Business Executives Association is proud
and honored to support the peace process and growth between
these two countries. PABE members
continue to invest in the financial stability of Pakistan
and this new effort between the two governments sends a
strong message that continued investments will be beneficial
for all. There's tremendous potential for even more growth
as rapid changes in communications and technology open
new commerce opportunities for global trade and investment.
